WELCOME TO DECATUR COUNTY
- GILBERT H. GRAGG LIBRARY
The Decatur County – Gilbert H. Gragg Library serves as the headquarters for the Southwest Georgia Regional Library System. Providing a wide range of material, the library collection includes bestselling fiction and nonfiction, books on CD and tape, large print materials, and DVDs. As a member of PINES, you can borrow print material from across the state. Our genealogy room offers local histories, yearbooks, microfilm of local newspapers, and numerous other helpful resources. Our public computers allow patrons the opportunity to check their email, work on papers, and search the Internet.
Toddler Tales allows your child the opportunity to meet other children, hear a great story, learn new songs, and make crafts. You can join Toddler Tales every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. Additional programs for children and teens are offered throughout the year. Adults can enroll in our popular introductory computer programs covering Microsoft Word, how to use the computer, and how to search the Internet. Other programs include author talks and a book club. Please call us or email us at librarian@swgrl.org for more information on any of our programs and events.
