The Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library provides a great selection of print and audiovisual materials for check out. In addition to the traditional fiction and nonfiction collections, the library offers books on CD, large print materials, and DVDs. Your PINES card will also allow you to borrow materials from libraries across the state.
With your PINES card, you may use our public access computers to check email, use the Internet, or write a paper.
The genealogy collection provides access to local histories, yearbooks, and Miller County family histories.
Our children’s collection consists of classic and contemporary titles in both print and DVD format for children of all ages and reading levels. The children’s area also has children’s computers with games and learning activities appropriate for your child’s learning level.
Our genealogy room offers local histories, yearbooks, microfilm of local newspapers, and numerous other helpful resources.

Storytime: The 3rd Thursday of the Month at 10:30am
Come meet other children, hear a great story, learn new songs, and make crafts.
Legos at the Library: The 4th Thursday of the Month at 4pm
Come to the library to make wonderful creations!
Chess: The 1st Thursday of the Month at 4pm
Come to the library to learn how to play chess. Everyone is welcome to attend.
