PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Seminole County Public Library offers a wonderful collection of print and audio-visual materials for check out. You can find best-selling fiction and non-fiction, books on CD and tape, large print materials, and DVDs. Through the PINES system, if we don’t have the item on our shelf you can borrow print material from libraries across the state. Our genealogy room offers local histories, a collection of yearbooks, and copies of books written by local authors. In addition, you can use one of our public computers to check email, surf the internet, and write a paper.
Each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., the library offers Toddler Storytime. Children will enjoy listening to classic and new stories shared by our wonderful staff. For the adults, introductory computer classes are offered on subjects such as Microsoft Word, searching the Internet, and how to use a computer.
