Family Education

The Family Education website has all kinds of helpful information for parents, including nutrition, family travel, family fun ideas, and more. This website even has a recipe database and printable activities for children.




Born to Read

From the Association for Library Service to Children, this website has a great section of books divided into categories for parents of young children.


Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.)
Provides suggested reading lists for families with children ages 0-12.


Great Books for Kids of All Ages
From Oprah.com, selected books for children divided into five categories: Infant-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-9 years, 10-12 years, and 12 years and up.


Guys Read
A web-based literacy program for boys. Contains lists of books that especially appeal to boys.
